Who We Are
Our Story
Pipelines to Possibilities Program – Creating Diverse California Community Colleges through HBCU Partnerships (P2P) is an internship co-op-partnership supported through funding from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office (Chancellor’s Office). The P2P program leverages current transfer partnerships through the California Community Colleges to HBCU Transfer Guarantee Agreement. It champions the accomplishments that Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have achieved with student success through employing faculty of color and emphasizing representation as a standard.
The P2P program provides an intentional faculty pipeline within the California community college districts through proactive recruitment, hiring, and retention of diverse tenured faculty aimed to diminish equity gaps and meet the needs of diverse student populations to improve student success. P2P is aimed at changing the face of academia – through continued collaboration, skill development, and equity driven programming aimed at recruiting, and retaining California community colleges faculty.
