About Us

Our Mission
The Pipelines to Possibilities Program (P2P) offers an HBCU graduate internship program designed to develop an intentional faculty pipeline within the California Community College Districts through proactive recruitment, hiring, and retention of diverse tenured faculty aimed to diminish equity gaps and meet the needs of diverse student populations to improve student success.

Our Story
Pipelines to Possibilities Program – Creating Diverse California Community Colleges through HBCU Partnerships (P2P) is a graduate internship co-op-partnership managed through the California Community College Chancellor’s Office (Chancellor’s Office). Through this program, California Community Colleges aim to diversify their educators and represent their diverse student populations.

Our Purpose
P2P is intended to foster the development of incoming faculty of color to understand the complexities of the CCC system and provide strategies to enhance employment success in finding a faculty position upon graduation. The cohort-style graduate internship program is designed for students of color completing their master’s degrees at HBCUs with an interest in teaching and administration in higher education at California Community Colleges
